Learn to dive in Costa Rica, Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Gulf of Papagayo. Prolific marine life: Manta rays, whale sharks, eagle rays, schooling fish, humpback whales, dolphin, white tip reef sharks, eels, puffers and turtles can be seen on most dives. Dive sites are perfect for students. Start your tour in the morning and dive in the afternoon. Rental gear available, including dive computers.Dive staff will pick you up at your Playa Hermosa, Playa del Coco or Playa Ocotal hotel (additional fee for hotels not on these three beaches) starting at 7:30 am. You will have to sign a medical waiver once you arrive at the dive shop.
Instructors will teach you the basic skills you need and you will safely dive with an instructor guiding you and assisting you when necessary. Instructor and dive guides will load and set up your dive gear for you. Dive briefing before each of the two dives explain the maximum depth, geographic description of site, and marine life you will see on the tour.
During surface interval, dive masters will offer snacks and beverages. After the dives, dive masters will unload and rinse personal and/or rental dive gear. Dive staff will return you to your hotel via car or boat. Tips are greatly appreciated by the dive staff, so don't forget to bring a small amount of cash.
