You will be welcomed to the office in Bediyah with dates and Arabic coffee at 10.00am where your guide will meet you. You will then be taken to start crossing the dunes of Wahiba Sands desert from North to South.
There is then a chance to stop and enjoy a camel ride (additional cost) before dune-bashing commences. Along the way there will be plenty of stops for pictures, and a stop to visit a Bedouins family home that live in the middle of Wahiba Sands. This stop will let you experience true Omani culture and amazing nature. Explore their life, ask questions and learn a few words of Arabic before continuing to chose your spot to camp for the night. Rest, settle down and enjoy a desert sunset.
You will then collect some wood for cooking dinner in the traditional way. After dinner relax beside the campfire under the millions of stars and fall asleep in peace and sounds of the dunes.
Day 2:
Start the day with an early morning breakfast before continuing to Wahiba Sands to reach the last Bedouins village of Quhaid. The settlement is located on the edge of the Arabian Sea. There you will enjoy lunch. After lunch you will be taken to the beautiful coastline where you will see the sun set. You will set up camp on the beach and then have plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing sea water.
Whilst on the beach you can also watch how the turtles lay their eggs. Fall asleep under Arabian stars with a breeze of the ocean.
Day 3:
In the morning after the breakfast you will have time to relax and enjoy swimming in the Arabian sea. You will then be driven back towards Bediyah. En route you will see all of the coastal villages, including the famous town of Sur with its dhow building yards. You will also have the chance to jump in the crystal clear water of the beautiful Wadi Tiwi in one of the mountain oasis. Visit a Souk and the Old Village in Ibra before arriving in Bediyah.
