are supported by 400 columns. Day 1: Udaipur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Upon arrival to Udaipur airport or railway station you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to the hotel. You can also choose to be picked up at your hotel in Udaipur. After check-in you will be transferred to Ranakpur to visit the 15th century Jain temples. The temple is a masterpiece of architecture. It has 24 pillared halls with 80 domes that are supported by 400 columns. The upper and lower parts of the domes are linked by brackets that have deities' sculptures. Above all you would be amazed to see at a height of 45 feet engraved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures. Each column is intricately carved and you will never find two columns with identical design. After the temple, you will be taken back to the hotel in Udaipur for overnight stay.
Day 2: Udaipur (B)
After breakfast you will start your excursion at the stunning palaces of Udaipur. First, you will visit City Palace with a local English-speaking guide. It is one of the most famous architectural marvels in Udaipur. Then, you will continue to see Shree Jagdish Temple, a world renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. After visiting Jagdish Temple, you will be taken to Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maids), which is hailed as most beautiful garden in Udaipur for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains.
Later, you will be taken to a local restaurant or a hotel for lunch at your own expense. After lunch you will continue the tour to Lake Pichola. Enjoy a boat ride at the lake with perfect backdrop of lush green hills. The pristine lake is enveloped by range of lofty palaces, temples, bathing ghats and elevated hills from all sides. Lake Pichola is an artificial fresh water lake created in the year 1362 A.D. and named after the nearby Picholi village. After the boat ride you will be taken back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Udaipur (B)
After the breakfast you will check out and get transferred to the airport, railway station or your hotel in Udaipur for your onward journey.
