Meet at the Bellecour tourist information to experience an enjoyable and relaxing tour of the historical old town by bicycles. You will be assisted with the rental of your bicycle from a reputable Lyon company to visit Bellecour statue of Louis 14th, Cathedral, Place des Terreaux. Your tour continues along the river banks of the Rhone to the parc Tete d'Or and amazing botanical garden and zoo. Really beautiful rose gardens and flowers with 8,000 different species. Return to Bellecour tourist information or opt to stay in park and return bicycle to one of return places just outside the park.

Meet at the Bellecour tourist information to experience an enjoyable and relaxing tour of the historical old town by bicycles. Return to Bellecour tourist information or opt to stay in park and return bicycle to one of return places just outside the park.Meet your guide at the Bellecour tourist information centre just 2 minutes from Bellecour underground stop. You will be helped to rent one of the city's velo'v bicycles (a credit card is needed to rent your bicycle and the minimum age is 14). Enjoy a tour of Bellecour square and then start your tour of Lyon, a UNESCO world heritage site. Your tour continues to the old town, River Soane, St Jean Cathedral where there is an opportunity to visit the interior (approximately 10 minutes). Pass by the miniature museum (optional visit of the interior for 5 minutes), alleys and through cobbled streets, to Place des Terreaux, Town Hall and Art museum. Cycle along river banks with views of croix rousse, the old town and Basilique.
Continue to a park to see rose gardens, greenhouses, cacti and species from all over the world. Visit the zoo and relax in the park if you wish. There is an opportunity to return the bicycle near the park if opting to stay and explore the park; cafeteria's, kiosks and refreshments are available at the park (own expense). Return to Bellecour place for participants not staying in park.
