Head south from Sydney and enjoy an all inclusive weekend out of the busy city. Guests will enjoy staying in high end accommodation, surfing at beautiful uncrowded beaches, and participating in local activities. This surf camp operates every weekend from June to August.Transport to the camp is included so whether you want to drive yourself or join the tour in Sydney the price is the same. If you choose to include the transport from Sydney, you will travel in air conditioned, late model mini buses. A luggage trailers if available, so you can bring your entire luggage and even your board if you have one. the minibus departs at 5pm from Central Sydney on Friday afternoons and arrives back in Sydney around 7pm on Sunday evenings.
As a member of Australia’s peak body for surfing, Surfing Australia, you are assured of the highest standards of coaching by fully qualified coaches with certificates in Lifesaving, Working With Children Checks and Senior First Aid. The coaching program has been developed through working at numerous Surf Camps in Europe and South America and taking the best from each program and learning from some of the best coaches around the world. You will be taught correct technique, constantly advised on things you can do better and also encouraged to get the best out of your surfing. The coaches are professional coaches who travel the world coaching and are given weekly training to make sure that you have the best surfing experience that a Surf Camp can provide.
The camp is located on the beautiful NSW South Coast in the region of Shoalhaven. It is roughly 220 kilometers south of Sydney or about 3 hours drive. The Surf Camp is located in a small coastal village called Bendalong and is a popular tourist destination for Sydney-siders looking for a quiet break from the city. The area has six amazing beaches all facing in different directions which is great for finding the perfect surf conditions for learning to surf on any day. The Surf Camp is surrounded on three sides by water as and on the other by Conjola National Park which makes for great wildlife interaction. From the months of June to August, it is also the perfect place to watch the annual humpback whale migration with whales passing only meters away from the point.
