Day 1:
You will be picked up at your hotel in Vientiane at 8:00 am and then leave for the beautiful town Vang Vieng by taking Road 13 toward North. On the way stop at KM 52 Hmong Village for a short visit. Then visit the archaeological site of Vang Xang, which has one of the oldest Buddha statues dating back to 11th century. After visiting Vang Xang, you will stop for photos at the fishing village of Ban Houy Mo, then continue to Vang Vieng, stopping for lunch en route at local restaurant. When you arrive in Vang Vieng, you'll take a boat trip on the Nam Xong River for natural beauty of Vang Vieng, You'll check in at your hotel, then have free time at your leisure. Stay overnight at Elephant Crossing Hotel, Silver Naga Hotel or hotels of similar grade in Vang Vieng.
Day 2:
In the morning visit Tham Chang Cave, one of the most impressive natural caves. Then proceed to the Ban Pha Thao Hmong Village. After visiting this village you will be heading out from Vang Vieng back to Vientiane. On the way, you will stop at a salt production village - Ban Keuan. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and in the afternoon you will be dropped off at your hotel.
