Escape the urban mayhem of Tokyo on a relaxing 2-day trip to visit the famous World Heritage, Shirakawago and Hida-Takayama, also known as "Little Kyoto." You'll have a chance to stay overnight at Toyama prefecture and travel though the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route to visit the Snow Wall Otani where you can experience being surrounded by snow even during springtime in Japan.Once you meet at the designated meeting point, you will be travelling by coach bus for approximately 4 hours and transferred to Gifu prefecture. Once you reach the Akakabu in Nyukawa, you can rest and shop for 20 minutes before heading to Hida-Takayama. In Hida-Takayama, you'll explore a quaint old street of the town that is also as known as “Little Kyoto” for approximately an hour.
Optional lunch meal boxes, which will be served on the bus, are available for Day 1. Please order this at the same time of your booking. The payment is not included in the tour fee. Please prepare the money on the departure day to give to your tour conductor.
Afterwards, you will head towards Shirakawago, the World Heritage village that is famous for the farmhouses representative of the traditional Japanese architectural history. The construction method for the farmhouse so called “Gassho-zukuri” which refers to the shape of the roofing that looks like a person's hands put together for praying. You can walk around to take some pictures for approximately 60 minutes before heading to your accommodation at the Toyama prefecture.

The next day, after your breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the main destination, located in Nagano prefecture, where you can experience the snow even during the spring in Japan. Firstly, you will proceed to Tateyama to start the journey by cable car which will take about 7-minutes. Once you arrive at Bijodaira, you will ride on another highland exclusive bus for around 60 minutes to head to Murodo where the Snow Wall Otani located.

After that, you will ride on the trolley bus to pass though the Tateyama tunnel and head to Daikambo Ropeway station. Then you will take a ride on Ropeway for approximately 7 minutes to Kurobedaira where you can get the fantastic view of the natural wonders. After a short rest, you will take a cable car for 5 minutes to Lake Kurobe that is famous for its emerald green water.

Thereafter, you will head to Kurobe Dam on foot to take a look at the greatness of the electric supplier’s water flow. At the same time, you can enjoy the surrounding Kurobe Gorge as well. Then, you will ride on a trolley bus to head to Ogizawa. From there, you will be pick up by the coach bus to visit to Azumino for a 25 minute shopping break before heading back to Shinjuku.
