Day 1: Jaipur – Mandawa
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle and taken on a comfortable 3-hour drive north through the state of Rajasthan to Mandawa.
Arrive in this beautiful little town, widely known for its forts and havelis -- magnificent merchant mansions of the 18th and 19th centuries featuring astounding architecture. Check in to your hotel and rest for a bit before embarking on your tour of Mandawa.
Drive around Mandawa and visit the various havelis decorated with bright murals and well-preserved paintings depicting traditional religious subjects and scenes from life of the inhabitants of Mandawa centuries ago.

In between sightseeing, stop at a local restaurant at your guide’s suggestion to have lunch (own expense). At the end of your tour, you may have dinner (own expense) at the hotel or at another local restaurant. Then, soak up the lavish atmosphere as you stay overnight in a haveli-style accommodation.
