Meet your host when you check in at Dublin Heuston Station, and then board the train for your 2pm departure to Cork. Relax for approximately three hours as you take in scenic views of the Irish countryside. Upon arrival in Cork, transfer by coach to your hotel, where you’ll have the rest of the evening to spend at your leisure.

Overnight: 4-star hotel in central Cork

Day 2: Cork – Dublin (B)
After breakfast with your tour group, meet your professional guide and hop aboard your comfortable coach for a drive to Blarney Castle. Built in 1446, the castle includes the famous Blarney Stone – the stone of eloquence -- located at the top of the tower. You’ll have a chance to kiss the stone; legend has it that you’ll never again be at a loss for words!

Spend time exploring the lovely grounds and gardens, and enjoy lunch at the castle (own expense) before boarding the coach for your return trip to Cork. Upon arrival, enjoy a short city tour as your guide points out places of interest, including a stop at the English Market – Ireland’s most popular covered food market.

Next, travel by coach alongside Cork Harbour on your way to Cobh. Here, visit the Queenstown Story Heritage Centre, located in the gorgeously restored Victorian railway station. Learn about the historical station and transatlantic terminal as you listen to the moving story of Ireland's emigrants who escaped famine and embarked to new lands from here.

Afterward, return to Cork, where you’ll board the train back to Dublin arriving back at Dublin Heuston Station at approximately 8pm.
