It was built for the military defense in the ancient time. Since it is cycling the city, you have an option to ride a bike around the city wall.
Afterwards we will visit the Bell and Drum Tower square that is located at the center of the ancient city. The Bell and Drum Tower is considered as the symbol of Xi’an. After lunch stop by the Great Mosque, a major place for religious activities of Muslims in Xi’an. Some people think this Mosque in Xi’an is more similar to a traditional Chinese garden in both its design and outlets.
