2 day Cappadocia tour with an overnight hotel accommodation and a visit to 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites is the perfect introduction for first time visitors. Enjoy being guided by a professional licensed English speaker local tour guide and fellow travelers on this tour. All transportation is by air-conditioned deluxe minibus driven by our professional driver.Day 1: Your guide and driver will meet you at the airport in Cappadocia and you will start your two day Cappadocia adventure. The tour will start at a view point over Goreme to give you the information about the geography, formation and history of Cappadocia. You will be able to see The Pigeon Valley, Rose and Red Valleys, Goreme and Uchisar Villages from this point. You will then be taken to Kaymakli Underground City, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cappadocia. After seeing how life was underground you will be driven to Pigeon Valley to see Uchisar Castle and the valley from a panoramic point.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Avanos. You will then see a kick-wheel pottery demonstration in Avanos, a traditional Turkish craft.
After lunch you will go to Pasabag, also known as the Monks Valley that is home to fairy-chimneys, the best-protected in the area. Finally, we will visit Devrent Valley. Here you can see more fairy chimneys in different shapes. Overnight accommodation in Cappadocia.
Day 2:You will be picked up at 09:30am from your hotel and and start the exploring the Red Valley and Rose Valley in which you will be able to see lots of pigeon houses and beautiful rock-cut churches. Then drive to Cavusin Village which is an abandoned village with amazing views. After seeing the panoramic view of the village, we will drive to Uchisar Castle which is the highest point in Cappadocia. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and taste the local dishes.
After lunch, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in Cappadocia area. We will then drive to Mustafapasa (Sinasos) Village. We will see lots of Old Greek houses and have a stop at Secret Valley (Baltanin Yeri) to have a cup of coffee. The tour will end around 5:00pm and then you will be driven to the airport.
