Spend a lovely day with happy elephants in natural surroundings as you help the mahouts in the daily care of these majestic animals. You will get to know the elephants as you feed, wash and spend time with them on their own terms. All is done in small groups to allow for close interaction.

Spend a lovely day with happy elephants in natural surroundings as you help the mahouts in the daily care of these majestic animals. You will get to know the elephants as you feed, wash and spend time with them on their own terms. All is done in small groups to allow for close interaction.
The camp does not support riding or hurting the elephants. Instead the experience has been designed to provide both you and the elephants a very happy day. Spend a day caring for the majestic Asian Elephant. Your day starts with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai, and taken to the elephant home by mini bus. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival. Next, change into your provided mahout clothes and have an introduction to the itinerary of the day. The morning will be spent feeding, washing and getting to know the elephants.
Next, enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of Thai food or a vegetarian options. After lunch, you have the opportunity to cool off in the swimming pool and enjoy the views, and later you can join the elephants in a mud bath.
Next, enjoy a walk with the elephants to the Mae Taeng River where you can wash, swim and play with them. Don’t forget your swimsuit! Walk back to the camp accompanied by the elephants. Now it’s time for them to roam free and enjoy some more food.
After a lovely day with the elephants you will be transported back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
