DAY 1: Auckland
After the overnight flight to Auckland the morning will be free for you to recover. We will have a welcome dinner and orientation to the expedition. (D)
DAY 2: Auckland
Boat trip to Devonport. Sunset at Muriwai Beach to see a large colony of Gannet birds. At night we will photograph the city lights and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. (B)
DAY 3: Coromandel
Coromandel, Taupo and surrounding regions. (B)
DAY 4: Wellington
Taupo then Wellington in the afternoon. (B)
DAY 5: Abel Tasman
South Island on a cruise bound for the famous Marlborogh and Blenhein wineries. Our afternoon will be in Abel Tasman Bay and Nelson. (B)
DAY 6: Franz Josef
Lake Matheson, Franz Josef and Fox glaciers with a stop in the Punakaiki region. (B)
DAY 7: Franz Josef
Free day. (B)
DAY 8: Queenstown
Lake Wanaka and Queenstown. Stops along the way by Cardrona and Crown Range Valley, as well as the Kawarau Bungee Jump, also Arrowtown. (B)
DAY 9: Queenstown
Glenorchy and the Greenstone region in Mount Aspiring National Park. Queenstown, Lake Hays, Wakatipu and the Remarkables. (B)
DAY 10: Milford Sound
There will be many photo stops along the way on the most beautiful highway in the country. In the afternoon we will embark on a cruise that lends itself to stunning images at Mitre Peak. (B)
DAY 11: Catlins / Nugget Point
Catlins Forest Park and Nugget Point lighthouse. (B)
DAY 12: Moeraki Boulders
Moeraki, Alexandra, and Wanaka Boulders. (B)
DAY 13: Aoraki Mount Cook
Lindis Pass desert and Lake Pukaki. Mount Cook, Hooker Valley, Aoraki Mount Cook and the famous Good Shepherd church at Lake Tekapo. (B)
DAY 14: Aoraki Mount Cook
Free day. In the early evening we will depart for Christchurch. (B)
DAY 15: Christchurch
Early in the afternoon we will be flying to Auckland. Our farewell dinner will be at the highest point of the city, the Sky Tower, with 360-degree panoramic views. (B,D)
DAY 16: Auckland
After breakfast, shuttle to the airport and return flight home. (B)
