Arriving in Egypt can be one of the most welcoming experiences you’ll find on holiday, and with friendly people in every corner of the country you’ll feel right at home in no time. Day 1 (Cairo):
Upon arrival Cairo you will be met, assisted throughout customs by a representative, smooth check in to your hotel.
Day 2 (Cairo - Aswan):
You will start the delightful trip with a visit to the famous Giza Plateau watching the Pyramids and Sphinx. Moving on to visit Saqqara. Tonight you will have a different ride on board sleeper train to Aswan.
Day3 (Aswan):
Arrival Aswan or "the ancient city of Swenett"; start your trip by visiting High Dam. Later on you will have a relaxing boat trip to Philae Temple. The original island is now completely submerged under the waters of Lake Nasser. But in a spectacular rescue operation, the great temples and monuments of Philae were pulled out of the water and re-erected on a nearby island, now renamed Philae. Rest of the day free at leisure or perhaps you will be interested in having a walk to the colorful "Souq" in Aswan…or Aswan market…it looks amazing by night.
Day 4:
Felucca Sailing, Adventure Style. Overnight on board felucca. Free time to enjoy an optional excursion by road to Temple of Abu Simbel. In the afternoon you will board a felucca for a 2-night ride downstream the Nile, stopping at villages and islands alongside.
Day 5:
Day free at leisure.
Day 6 (Luxor):
Kom Ombo, Edfu. Disembarkation followed by a short drive to Kom Ombo where we visit the temple of Horus at Edfu, moving on to Luxor. Home of the legendary Valley of the Kings and Temple of Karnak, 4000 year-old Luxor is ancient Egypt at its best. Rest of the night free at leisure. As an option you can visit Temple of Luxor or perhaps you can enjoy facilities of your hotel.
Day 7 (Luxor):
Karnak Temple. Overnight Luxor: Early in the morning it will be a good choice to drift over Luxor city enjoying a hot air balloon ride by sunrise as an option. From high above we look down upon ancient Thebes, remarkable landscape and local villages waking up to start their day! Lunch meal will be served at a local restaurant, later on we visit the Temple of Karnak, a spectacular religious complex built on a gigantic scale. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Day 8 (Luxor - Hurghada):
Transfer Luxor / Hurghada for overnight. Heading to Hurghada "Hurghada is known for its water-sports activities, nightlife and warm weather with a daily temperature hovers round 30 °C (86 °F) most of the year. part of the beautiful Red Sea Riviera for 4 days on the beach!
Day 9 - 11 (Hurghada):
Free at leisure & optional water activities
Day 12 (Hurghada - Cairo):
Transfer to Cairo. Optional Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Day 13 (Cairo):
Egyptian Museum and optional Mummies Room
Day 14 (Cairo):
Transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure flight.
