You will then drive to the pyramids where your tour will start. See the three main pyramids of Cheops, Chephrenand and Mykerinus, alongside the other 6 small pyramids for queens.
You will then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, face of king and body of lion the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple where they mummified their dead bodies, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Then you will move onto tour the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The Egyptian museum displays a rare collection of 5000 year old art, both from the middle ages and new kingdom, and is considered to be the largest, most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. There is also Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920 by Howard Carter when his tomb was excavated. There is also an option to visit the mummy rooms.
