Embark on a 11-day English only tour of Namibia, exploring all the major sites and sounds that you need to see in this extraordinary country! Make the best of your stay while in Namibia!On your arrival at Windhoek Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Next day depart Windhoek and head north via Okahandja for a visit to a local market, to shop for wood carvings and curios. On day three, you will spend a full day in this world-class game park, visiting a number of waterholes to observe the wildlife. Spend another day in Etosha's unique desert landscape and then rise early this morning for a day which is sure to prove most memorable. With their intricate hairstyles and traditional adornments, the Himba are one of Namibia's most distinctive tribes. Spend time with these proud people, learning about their captivating heritage and special way of life. From the small settlement near Kamanjab head via Khorixas, the capital of the Damaraland region to arrive at your lodge in the mid-afternoon. On day 6, rise early this morning to see the highlights of Damaraland, one of the last true wilderness areas in Africa. We pass through scenic landscapes en route to the Petrified Forest. Visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the fascinating geological features such as the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain.

Next day continue via Henties Bay to the charming coastal resort of Swakopmund. Today is at leisure to continue your exploration of this charming town. Indulge in a harbour cruise or do a scenic flight, or perhaps one of the numerous optional adventure activities on offer. This morning, visit some of the regions natural wonders such as the ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis and the Moon Landscape before continuing to the edges of the Namib Desert. From there proceed through the southern region of the Namib Naukluft Park, the Kuiseb Canyon, and the Gaub Pass before we reach your accommodation. On day 10, visit the spectacular dunes at Sossusvlei, reputedly the highest dunes in the world. This morning, have a leisurely start and drive through the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (road conditions permitting) on to Windhoek. You arrive at your Windhoek city hotel at approximately 2pm. Alternatively you may choose to be dropped off at the Windhoek International Airport by 2:30pm.
