Join this 10-day trek and explore the main range of some twenty peaks stretching for approximately 25 km, with a subsidiary range of smaller peaks stretching out to the west for approximately 15 km. Six of the peaks exceed 6000 m. Yerupajá (6617 m), the second highest mountain in Peru (behind Huascarán at 6768 m) and Siula Grande (6344 m), made famous by Joe Simpson in Touching the Void Film.

Day 1: Huaraz – Llamac - Cuartelhuain
Depart from Huaraz to the town of Llamac. Pocpa valley, Matacancha at 4100 masl. Mountain views of Ninashanca 5607 masl, Rondoy 5870 metres above sea level.
Camping at Cuartelhuain at 4200masl.
Day 2: Cuartelhuain – Mitucocha
Climb for about 2 or 3 hours, camping place around the lake while our cook prepares the dinner.
We will camp at 4200 metres above sea level.
Day 3: Mitucocha – Carhuacocha
We start our day at 8am. From the pass enjoy the mountains of Yerupaja, Jirishanca and Siula.
Camp place in the special place facing to the lake. We will camp at 4138 metres above sea level.
Day 4: Caruacocha – Huayhuash
Departing at 8am we will get the Carnicero Pass at 4600 metres above sea level. Then we will go to our camping place which is at 4350 metres above sea level.
Day 5: Huayhuash – Viconga
Continue our trekking going-up to the Portachuelo de Huayhuash Pass. Go-down to Viconga then hot springs at the camp place. Free afternoon and rest in the camp place at 4450 metres above sea level.
Day 6: Viconga – Huanacpatay
With moderation we're going-up to the highest pass in our whole trip. Then go-down the Guanacpatay valley the beautiful field full of grass to walk.
Camping place in the peaceful Valley Guanacpatay 4300 metres above sea level.
Day 7: Huanacpatay – Huatiac
This time we're going down only, Huayllapa village at 3700 metres above sea level. Here you can buy soda drinks, beers and first house necessities. Hiking up to the camp site Huatiac at 4250 metres above sea level.
Day 8: Huatiac – Cashpapampa
Go-up to the Tapush pass 4800masl, arrive to camp place, plenty of time to relax its considered rest day.
Overnight at 4400 metres above sea level.
Day 9: Cashpapampa – Jahuacocha
Going-up to the Yaucha Pass at 4800 metres above sea level, we’ll be surprised by a beautiful panoramic landscape. The Jahuacocha lake views of mountains Jirishanca, Yerupaja, and Rondoy, beautiful green color lake that lies at 4066 masl. camp place, Overnight in Jahuacocha at 4066 metres above sea level.
Day 10: Jahuacocha - Llamac – Huaraz
We’ll go-up to the Pampallamac then go-down to Llamac then drive to Chiquian continue to Huaraz for 3-hour drive.
There will be no stops on our way to your hotel in Huaraz.
Day 1: Huaraz – Llamac - Cuartelhuain
